This is a new boot for tie rod end for Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 14 models.
This rubber boot can be found on the wire ends of the tie rods and prevents that humidity and dust may infiltrate into the hinge joint of the tie rod, which accelerates wear of the ball joint.You can now replace hardened or torn seals of good working tie rods by these new item and thus prevent readjustment of the steering.
