These gaskets can withstand 1200 C and are located under the inspection covers at the transition between the heat exchanger and cooling housing on a Type4.When dismantling the heat exchangers or cooling housing, you have to remove these covers and in the process, the gaskets are often lost.Without these gaskets, there is no proper sealing of the air blown into the heat exchangers.
