Kit to rebuild the backrest frames of the 2 front seats of all Jaguar XKE E-Type 4.2 and 5.3 models with standard seats from 1964-74. It contains 40 rubber rings, 4 elastic rubber bands, 2 horsehair panels and 2 shoulder pads. The backrests of your E Type front seats have an O-ring frame. Extensive use and age will cause the rubber rings and elastic bands to loose resistance and break. This reduces the support of the seat and will overstretch your seat covers causing them to tear and crack. The kit includes all soft materials to rebuild both front backrests. Backrest frames and O-ring clips are not included.
