This is a new gearbox mount, rear heavy duty for Volkswagen Type 3 models.
Gearbox mount, rearheavy duty. This transmount can be found at both sides at the back of the gear box and makes that the gear box and engine are duly kept assembled on the body. The seal can get damaged due to dehydration and the influences of leaking oil so that a good connection without vibrations between the driving part and the body is no longer secured. The hardness of our 1481-100 is measured by Shore A. In this specific item the hardness is 75 til 81 Shore A. this is the classification of the rubber of this item. See illustrations for further explanation.We make our transmission mounts to original VW specs. Volkswagen improved the hardness from the VW beetle one to use these in the VW buses
