Slimline high torque 2 bolt, 10 tooth starter motor for Ford Anglia and Cortina MK1 and MK2 crossflow and pre-crossflow models. It weighs 3.2 kg and is based on a 1.4kW Hiatchi PMGR starter motor which has been modified to suit this particular application. It has 9/10 teeth/29mm diameter pinion, 3.589mmspigot diameter, 4.5114.3mmbolt hole center distance, and is supplied with a terminal fitting kit. It has an indexable mounting flange to enable different orientations and an overall length of 155mm from the mounting flange face to the end of motor. Available with 2 bolt or 3 bolt fixings and also with a choice of either 9 or 10 teeth pinions. For use on negative earth vehicles only. Each unit is a direct replacement for the original starter motor and weighs less than the original with 2 - 3 time the power output. Please note, if you require a multi-drilled end plate to enable the motor to be mounted in different locations please let us know at the time of ordering and we can supply these at no additional cost.
