Oil pan protection plate for BMW E34 models. It is suitable for every BMW E34 model or engine. The oil pan protection is attached to the steering gear at the front and holes have to be drilled in the cross member at the rear. The oil pan protection also offers more rigidity in the lower area of the front axle and ensures more directional stability. Made from 100 Domex 700, very abrasion-resistant material. Cold-formed steel sheets that are manufactured using a thermomechanical rolling process. Material is very resistant and is reinforced on the sides. It is laser CNC cut and bent, it's also TIG welded and black powder-coated. It weighs 6.5Kg. Mounting material is not included. All Drift-King strut braces do not require an ABE and are free of registration. ABE is only required if the strut brace has to be welded to the body. Drift-King strut braces are screwed on and therefore neither an entry nor an ABE is necessary. Strut braces are used to stiffen the body. Strut braces are usually retrofitted to increase the strength of the body. The installation of a strut brace is particularly useful when changes have been made to the chassis and there is a higher load on the body. A strut brace connects the two front or rear strut domes with one another. This prevents the geometry of the chassis from changing.
