Front and rear strut bar brace set for BMW E36 6 cylinder models. Suitable for M50, M52, S50, and S52 motors. The rear strut bar only fits in the Coupe, Sedan and Touring, does not fit in the E36 Compact. The strut brace provides more stability and improved steering as well as sustainable stiffening of the body. The bars are MIG-MAG welded, laser cut, and CNC milled. The strut bar is powder-coated in black and the mounting holes are embossed to ensure durability and functionality. Steel thickness is 3mm. All Drift-King strut braces do not require an ABE and are registration-free. An ABE is only required if the strut brace has to be welded to the body. Drift-King strut braces are screwed on and therefore neither an entry nor an ABE is necessary. Strut braces are used to stiffen the body. Strut braces are usually retrofitted to increase the strength of the body. In particular, if changes have been made to the chassis and there is a higher load on the body, the installation of a strut brace is useful. A strut brace connects the two front or rear strut domes with one another. This prevents the geometry of the chassis from changing.
